The nose gives bright, fresh fruit-morello cherries, sloes & hints of cedar & oak.

Very much an example of a modern, flashy St-Julien.

The palate is dense & opulent.

Full of the soft, yielding fruit for which the 2009's are famous, all held taut by a fine weave of tannic structure.

 

Very long ageing potential.

Aged in oak.
